Liposomal Glutathione 1000mg with Alpha Lipoic Acid

I've bought probably 15 different liver supplements over the past 4 years since my doctor said my ALT was high and casually told me to "lose some weight." Milk thistle, NAC, TUDCA, you name it. Most of them did absolutely nothing except make my wallet lighter. I was skeptical ordering this one too, honestly. But I'm on my second bottle now and for the first time I'm not falling asleep at my desk at 2:30 every afternoon. My husband even noticed I'm not as puffy around the middle. I don't know if my enzymes are down yet (I get bloodwork next month) but something is working. Will update.

Started this about 6 weeks ago after my annual physical came back with "mild hepatic steatosis" on the ultrasound. I'm 58, post-menopause, not overweight, eat pretty clean, so hearing that was a slap in the face. I did a ton of research before buying and the liposomal plus ALA combo was what I kept coming back to. I will say I have more energy and my brain feels less foggy, which has been a huge issue since menopause hit. The price is steep though. If a bottle lasted a bit longer or there was a better subscription deal I'd give it 5 stars.

Went in for my 6 month follow up and my liver enzymes dropped significantly. Not going to post numbers because everyone is different but my hepatologist asked what I'd changed and I told her about this plus I've been walking an hour a day and cut way back on sugar. She said whatever I was doing to keep doing it. I'm 62 and I want to be around for my grandkids so this matters.

Great product. Easy to take, no weird aftertaste like some of the other liposomals I've tried (looking at you, Quicksilver). Been on it 3 months. Energy is noticeably better.

Ok so a little background. I'm 54, hit perimenopause around 49, full menopause last year. Gained 22 lbs seemingly overnight despite not changing anything about how I eat. My GP mentioned my liver numbers were creeping up and basically told me to lose weight (gee thanks). I started researching on my own because I was tired of being dismissed and found info on how estrogen loss affects the liver. Started this supplement about 4 months ago. The weight is slowly coming off. I feel less bloated. My sleep is better. I can't say for sure it's all because of this but something has shifted. Ladies if you're in the same boat it might be worth trying.

I want to be upfront. This is not a magic pill. If you expect to pop it and have everything fixed you'll be disappointed. But if you're already walking, trying to eat better, and want some real support, this helps. I've been taking it for almost 7 months. My fibroscan improved at my last appointment. I have more stamina. My skin even looks better which was an unexpected bonus. For what it's worth I'm 67, diagnosed with NAFLD at 61, and this is the first thing I've tried that I'm actually sticking with.

I'm only on week 3 so I can't give a full review yet but I wanted to share my experience so far for anyone on the fence. I'm 52, recently diagnosed, and desperate to avoid where my mom ended up (she had cirrhosis). So far I don't feel much different but I didn't expect to this early. The capsules are easy to swallow which matters because I take a lot of other things in the morning. I'll come back and update at the 3 month mark.
